Licensed residential electrical work across Puyallup — EV chargers and panel upgrades for the growing South Hill neighborhoods, plus rewires and emergency service for older downtown homes.
Puyallup has grown up fast. Where Tacoma's electrical work is mostly about aging wiring, Puyallup's is mostly about keeping up with expansion — the subdivisions that have filled in across South Hill over the last couple of decades, the additions and finished basements and detached shops going onto family homes throughout the valley, and the two-car garages that now house at least one electric vehicle. Newer homes and newer loads drive most of what we're called out for here.
The biggest single request in Puyallup is EV charger installation. South Hill has exactly the profile that drives it — newer homes, attached garages, commuting households, and driveways with room for two cars. A Level 2 charger or Tesla Wall Connector wired to a dedicated 240-volt circuit turns an overnight top-up into a non-event. Even on newer homes, though, adding that circuit alongside a heat pump, a hot tub, and a kitchen full of modern appliances can push a panel to its limit, which is why 200-amp panel upgrades are our second-most-common Puyallup job. If your subdivision home came with a builder-grade panel that's already full, we'll size the load and tell you whether a subpanel or a full service upgrade is the cleaner fix.
One thing that trips people up: Puyallup is largely Puget Sound Energy territory, not Tacoma Power. If you moved here from Tacoma the utility side of a service upgrade works a little differently, and we handle the PSE coordination — the meter release and reconnect scheduling — as part of the job so a panel upgrade doesn't stall waiting on paperwork.
Puyallup isn't all new construction, though. The older homes around downtown Puyallup and the original valley neighborhoods have their own aging wiring, and those are where our whole-house rewiring work concentrates — cloth-insulated branch circuits, ungrounded two-prong outlets, and the occasional stretch of knob-and-tube behind the plaster. And wherever the home is old or new, when the power drops, an outlet scorches, or a breaker won't hold, our emergency electricians respond across Puyallup and South Hill.

Sometimes yes. Newer doesn't always mean spare capacity, especially with a heat pump and other 240-volt loads already installed. We measure your actual load before recommending anything, so you're not paying for an upgrade you don't need.
Absolutely. Downtown Puyallup and the older valley neighborhoods have aging wiring that often needs grounding, rewiring, or a panel replacement, and that's core work for us.
